Can you REALLY have ANYTHING you want???

Would you like to find out how people walk across red hot embers and break concrete with their bare hands? Growing a home based business compared to this seems easy doesn’t it – well it is!! How would you like to be able to achieve anything you ever wanted. Well it is possible and there are specific steps that you can take to make it happen.

By the time we reach adulthood we have all become very conditioned. The way we see and react to the world has been ‘hard wired’ into our subconscious. This conditioning is usually very negative and effects how we view our lives and our future prospects. People become negative as they have had any last hope of an amazing life systematically battered out of them from years and years by people being negative and telling them that they “can’t have that”, and “don’t be stupid cos you can’t do that”!!

If you ask kids what they want to be when they grow up they will say things like Astronaut or Sporting superstar!! Ask them what kind of car they want and it will probable be a super-car of some description, maybe a Ferrari or Lamborghini!! If we have such fantastic dreams as kids then why is it that the vast majority of adults end up working in Dead end jobs that they loath, and drive around in Cars that they hate, because it’s the only model they can afford. In fact if you look at the average person they will be unhappy with the vast majority of their life. Escaping in the dream that they will land the Lottery one day. Well we all know we’ve more chance of being hit by Lightning twice whist singing ‘Things can only get better’ as we sunbathe on Bondi Beach, than becoming a jackpot Millionaire.

However, no matter how desperately negative your life seems to be, there is one very simple technique that you can use to turn around your fortunes – TODAY. This technique is called MODELLING and used by many of the top Entrepreneurs today. The funny thing is that some people don’t even realise they are using it but still get phenomenal results!

The truth is that anyone can replicate a skill or behaviour of someone else in a fraction of the time that it took to learn that skill originally. You see everyone is equal in terms of physical and mental capabilities. The only difference is that of motivation – values, beliefs and attitudes which drive one to be excellent. Here’s the cool bit, you are free to model ANYONE you wish. You can now achieve things that you maybe thought were out of your control or unattainable.
So if we are free to select who we model the next question what skills do you wish to learn. It is similar to the notion of asking for advice or help. You should ask someone who is qualified in that particular field or area. For example if you want to learn about diamonds then you should ask a diamond expert. You would not rush out seeking the advice of your local butcher. Similarly, if you want financial freedom you probably shouldn’t consult your friends who are broke, desperate and $50K in debt!!

If you are a Musician or Sports person pick someone who has achieved greatness in their particular fields. In this case you are looking to develop your business and become financially free. There are many excellent people to pick from in this arena. Select those who have, or do the kind of things you want, and is the type of person that you wish to become.

Think of he people in business that you would like to model:
Richard Branson, Donald Trump, Jim Rohn, Anthony Robbins…..the list is endless…

Once you have selected your role model, here are the steps you should take. Find out their beliefs and values. If you know them personally and they are willing you could interview them to find out.
If you don’t have access to them you can research them online or read autobiographies etc. This will often tell you a great deal about what skills they have how they overcame obstacles.
Learn how they think and react to situations
Copy absolutely everything that they recommend in order to achieve success

Once you know these things break down your goal into small parts. If there is a big gap between where you are and where you want to be take a small step at a time. Focus on competing small tasks and measure the outcomes as you go along. In the case of wanting to build a ‘global empire’ with your home based business you should look at what people have done. Find out the small steps that they took. What skills they had to learn. Find out their thought process and why they believed this would work. But most importantly find out how they kept themselves on track when things got tough.

If social media, and in particular YOUTUBE is going to be a part of your marketing plan. You need to find out all the above in relation to your role model. Don’t worry about being a You tube superstar in the beginning. Simply learn what they have done, apply these techniques and focus on getting one video out at a time. Copy there daily method of operation and over time you will see the same results that they achieved.

The great thing with the home based business arena is that there are many great role models. People who have over come huge obstacles to get where they are today. More importantly is the vary nature of this type of business – people want to openly share this information with you. This is because all successful people have learned that the more you give away the more you will receive. Aim to give and contribute more towards other peoples success and you will have great success in return. Zig Zigglar put it so well…”you can have anything you want out of life if you just help enough other people get what they want”.

This is great place to start from, Model this belief and you will be well on your way to reaching the top in what ever field you choose.

Here’s to your success
